Verify your ID via Email if you have trouble with Automatic KYC?

Sometimes users may have trouble verifying their ID's automatically via our system. In that case you can email through your:
  1. Photo ID (Drivers License, Passport etc.)
  2. Selfie with ID
And we can approve them manually. See more information about this below.

Email Verification Guidelines

If users submit documents via email, they will need to provide the following:


1. Government issued photo ID

Must include the following details:

  • Full name

  • Photo

  • Date of birth

  • ID number

  • Expiry date (if applicable)

Acceptable types of IDs:

  • Passport

  • National ID card

  • Driver’s license

Requirements:

  • Must be a full-color scan or photo.

  • All four corners of the document must be visible.

  • Text and images should be clear and legible.

  • The document must not be expired.


2. Selfie with ID

  • User must take a live selfie while holding their ID.

  • Requirements:

    • The ID should be held next to the user’s face and fully visible.

    • The user’s face must not be obstructed (e.g., by hats, sunglasses, etc.).

    • Ensure the lighting is adequate, and both the face and ID details are clear.

    • The selfie must match the portrait photo on the ID.

How to properly take a selfie while holding my ID?

If you're required to provide a selfie holding an ID during the verification process, make sure you follow the instructions below:

  • The ID you're holding should be the same as the one you photographed in the steps described above;

  • The photo side of your ID should be facing towards the camera;

  • Take your selfie in a well-lit space;

  • Make sure the info on your ID is clearly legible;

  • Make sure your face is fully visible, unobstructed by masks, hats, or glasses, etc.;

  • Make sure your ID isn't blocking your face or blocked by your fingers.
