How much do you charge Restaurants for being on SmartFood?

Smartie applies commission fees to all SmartFood orders placed through the Smartie app. These fees cover payment processing, platform & logistics costs, and—where applicable—driver payouts for delivery.

Below is a clear breakdown of how commissions work for restaurant partners.

Smartie charges a flat 10% commission on all delivery orders.
This fee is all-inclusive, meaning:

• Card fees are included

• Driver delivery fees are included

• No additional charges are added to the restaurant for delivery orders

Example:
If the customer pays $50, the restaurant receives $45, with $5 covering the full delivery cost (platform + driver + payment processing).

For customers who choose to pick up their order, Smartie charges a 6% commission. This fee is also inclusive of card fees, so there are no extra payment processing charges.

Example:
If the customer pays $50, the restaurant receives $47, with $3 covering platform + payment processing costs.

These commissions allow Smartie to:

• Provide the full SmartFood ordering experience

• Cover secure payment processing costs

• Offer live order tracking and customer support

• Pay drivers (for delivery orders)

• Operate and improve the Smartie platform
