1. Batch Transfer Processing (BCI)
  • Operating Hours:
    • All batch transfers processed between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on business days.
  • Instant Processing:
    • Transfers involving BCI accounts are processed instantly once uploaded and released from Smartie’s accounts.
2. Batch Transfer Processing (ANZ & BSP)
  • Daily Transfer Runs:
    • Morning Run: 8:30 - 9:00 AM
    • Mid-Day Run: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
    • Afternoon Run: 2:30 PM
    • These runs involve sending transactions from Smartie to ANZ and BSP for customer accounts in those banks.
3. Customer-Initiated Transfers to Smartie

  • Transfers to Smartie’s BCI Pool Account:

    • BCI customer transfers made to Smartie’s BCI account via internet banking (individual transactions) are instant and available 24/7.

  • Transfers from ANZ & BSP to Smartie:

    • ANZ: ANZ processes similar to BCI - 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. ANZ often has a cut-off time of around 2:30 PM. It has been observed that ANZ sometimes processes transactions late in the day, even around 5:00 PM.
    • BSP: BSP processes normal transactions at the end of the day. The transactions are processed by BCI the next day. However, BSP has quick pay for businesses that runs around the same time as BCI at 8:30 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
