How to become a Smartie Food Delivery driver?

If you’re keen to earn on your own schedule, here’s what to expect as a Smartie Food delivery driver.

Hours & Pay:

• Lunch shift: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• Dinner shift: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM

  • Note: We’re currently only accepting drivers for lunch deliveries. Dinner shifts are offered only to drivers who can also do lunch.

• Earnings per delivery: $3.99 – $11.99, based on distance

• Payment timing: Instantly to your Smartie Wallet after each delivery

• Tips: You keep 100% of tips from customers

Driver Kit (One-Time Cost)

We’ll gear you up with a Smartie Jacket, Insulated Delivery Bag, and Phone Holder. Costs vary by delivery method/bag size:

• Bike + large-capacity insulated bag: $200

• Car + standard-capacity insulated bag: $120

• Car + large-capacity insulated bag: $200

Repayment: $20 per week (when you’re earning enough) until fully repaid.
Refund: Return your bag and jacket in good condition to receive a $100 refund.

What You’ll Need:

• A valid driver’s licence

• Your own bike, scooter, or car

• A smartphone with the Smartie Merchant app installed

Note: Smartie drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Smartie.

Payout

Payout is based on distance of delivery from restaurant to customer. See below:

• 0-5km: $4 payout

• 5-10km: $8 payout

• 10km+: $12 payout
